Our School Motto is 'Together We Enjoy, Learn and Flourish"
Welcome to the Riverside School website.
Riverside School caters for pupils who are aged 4 – 19 with severe learning difficulties and profound multiple learning difficulties. We strive to ensure that all relationships in school are driven by the core values of respect and understanding. Our approach places the needs of the pupils as the most important and our focus highlights the need to treat all pupils as individuals. Our aim is to meet individual needs and enable pupils to achieve their potential by providing a safe, secure and stimulating environment.
We celebrate and recognise each child’s achievements in all aspects of his/her development and learning, providing experiences and opportunities that are stimulating, engaging and enjoyable.
We value the close working relationship that we have with parents and carers: the establishment of successful partnerships between pupils, staff, parents, other professionals, the Board of Governors and the wider community is central to our work.
