MFT Carol Service

December 2017

Pupils from S1 and S2 (Charlie, Grace, Ryan, Daniel, Alysha and Stephen) attended an MFT Carol Service on Monday 18th December. A number of different MFT schools were represented with all pupils singing in a choir together and delighting the crowd with some lovely festive songs. The choir was exceptional with only having a short practice together before the event. Our Riverside pupils were fantastic representatives for our school and did us all very proud. It was a memorable way to celebrate the great links being created in the Antrim and Randalstown area through the work of MFT.

St Benedict's FUn Run

1.6.17

St Benedict's organised a fun run for local pupils at Castle Gardens at 10.30am and a 5km and 10km run at Shane's castle at 7pm for everyone. J3 and J4 went along to the Castle grounds to join 300 other local P7 pupils who took part by running and/or walking. A couple of teachers from Riverside supported and joined the 5km run later in the evening. Mrs Meharg won the 5km as best female with a cracking time of 25.01 and also beat her personal best. A super activity and fun filled day had by all. Well done to everyone who took part.
